Rarotonga, The Cook Islands

sunny 30 °C

Bound for the Cook Islands and the mainland of Rarotonga we arrived on the 8th December in what felt like a Cyclone, it wasnt far off!

After the storm had settled the following day we had 3 days on the main island before heading to the northern atoll Aitutaki for 10days.

Rarotonga is a wonderful place, we have not met such friendly people before, the Islanders are so welcoming and friendly it makes such a difference!
We stayed in a gorgeous beach villa on the lagoon Muri Beach, the water temp is like bath water and the snorkelling is perfect, we spent 3 days in the sea, kayaking and walking around the island.
